Location:  Pylades Island (southern most of DeCourcy Group) is situated in Stuart Channel (Latitude 49° 04' N, Longitude 123° 42' W) approximately 2.5 miles (4 kilometres) north-eastward of Yellow Point and 9 miles (14.5 kilometers) north of Chemainus on Vancouver Island.  Easily accessed by boat (private or water taxi), float aircraft and helicopter.
